5-Axis CNC Machining for Complex, Tight-Tolerance Parts
Our experienced design team at Dynamics Group can go to work for you – either starting from scratch or working with your existing design
Overview
Dynamics Group runs full 5-axis CNC machining at our Madison Heights, Michigan shop on two machines built for different jobs. The Okuma Genos M560V-5AX is our 5-axis workhorse: 41.3 x 22 x 18.1 inch travels, a 19.69 inch table, and a 15,000 RPM spindle that keeps cycle times competitive in aluminum and holds up in titanium and stainless. Alongside it, a Hurco VM10UHSi swivel-head machine takes on smaller five-sided parts on its 7.8 inch table at 12,000 RPM — a right-sized platform for compact, feature-dense components.
The reason to machine a part in 5-axis is one-setup accuracy. When five sides are cut in a single clamping, the tolerance stack-up that comes with re-fixturing disappears — which is why aerospace and defense buyers send us brackets, housings, and manifold-style parts carrying true-position and profile callouts that would be a fight across multiple setups. We hold tolerances to ±0.0002 inch on critical features and verify them in-house on a Mitutoyo AE112 CMM and a Keyence XM-5000 handheld probe CMM.
We are straightforward about capacity: if your part fits inside the Okuma's 41.3 x 22 x 18.1 inch work zone, we will machine it well — and if it needs a larger envelope, we will tell you before you lose a week finding out. 5-axis work is one arm of our complete CNC machining services; milling, turning, and production programs share the same floor and the same quality system. Send your model for a quote and you will have pricing back within 24 hours.
One Setup
Five sides machined in a single clamping — no re-fixturing, no tolerance stack-up.
Proven Platforms
An Okuma Genos M560V-5AX at 15,000 RPM and a Hurco VM10UHSi swivel-head for smaller work.
Verified
±0.0002 inch on critical features, inspected in-house on CMM before parts leave the building.

What To Expect
Our group of design experts specializes in rapidly bringing your products to market. Dynamics Group has access to the leading edge of software and hardware, and we can accelerate project timelines and provide build to print support or work with you to develop a design that fits your manufacturing specifications.
One-Setup Accuracy
True-position and profile callouts held in a single clamping, without re-fixturing error.
Honest Envelope Answers
We confirm your part fits the Okuma's 41.3 x 22 x 18.1 inch work zone up front — and say so plainly if it won't.
Aerospace & Defense Geometry
Brackets, housings, and manifolds with complex datum schemes are our routine work, not a special request.
Programming Depth
Toolpaths engineered around your part's datum structure and GD&T, not just its shape.
Matched Inspection
Mitutoyo CMM and Keyence XM-5000 probe verification aligned to the same callouts we machined to.
Secure
Complex programs and customer models stay protected inside our ITAR-registered facility.
