CNC Turning & Turn-Mill Services
Our experienced design team at Dynamics Group can go to work for you – either starting from scratch or working with your existing design
Overview
Dynamics Group turns precision parts on two Doosan Lynx CNC turning centers at our Madison Heights, Michigan shop. The Lynx 2600M is a turn-mill machine with live tooling that handles parts to 14.96 inch diameter x 24 inches long — turning, milling flats, drilling cross-holes, and tapping in a single program. The Lynx 2100Y adds a Y-axis for parts to 12 inch diameter x 20 inches, placing off-center features exactly where the print calls them without a second operation.
Done-in-one is the whole point. Every time a turned part moves to a mill for secondary features, it gets re-fixtured — and every re-fixturing adds error, handling, and lead time. Live tooling and Y-axis capability let us deliver shafts, pins, bushings, fittings, and turned housings complete off the lathe, with milled features already in place and concentricity intact. We hold ±0.0002 inch on critical features, verify turned parts on our Mitutoyo AE112 CMM and granite plates, and machine aluminum, steels, stainless, titanium, and plastics under an ISO 9001-compliant quality system.
Turning is part of our full CNC machining services, so a part that needs both lathe and mill work never leaves the building — one shop, one purchase order, one accountable supplier. Get a turning quote and you'll have pricing back within 24 hours, or call (586) 684-4676 with questions about your print.
Turn-Mill
Live tooling on the Lynx 2600M finishes cross-holes, flats, and tapped features without leaving the lathe.
Y-Axis
The Lynx 2100Y machines off-center features in true position — one setup, one datum, no stack-up.
Complete
Parts to 14.96 inch diameter delivered finished and CMM-verified, prototype through production.

What To Expect
Our group of design experts specializes in rapidly bringing your products to market. Dynamics Group has access to the leading edge of software and hardware, and we can accelerate project timelines and provide build to print support or work with you to develop a design that fits your manufacturing specifications.
Done-In-One
Turned parts leave the lathe complete — cross-holes, flats, and tapped features already machined.
Fewer Setups, Tighter Parts
Single-chucking keeps concentricity, runout, and true position honest from first article to last part.
Real Turning Capacity
To 14.96 inch diameter x 24 inches on the Lynx 2600M, with Y-axis work to 12 inch diameter on the 2100Y.
Prototype to Production
One-off turned prototypes and recurring production releases run on the same machines and programs.
Verified Geometry
CMM and granite-plate inspection confirm diameters, runout, and positional callouts before shipment.
Secure
Prints and programs stay protected inside our ITAR-registered facility from quote through delivery.
