How is this different from your workholding fixtures page?

A workholding fixture is the whole locating and holding assembly. This page covers the clamping side specifically — clamp selection, force, quick-change and distortion control for series production. Most programs need both, quoted together.

Can you design clamping for our existing fixtures?

Yes. Send the current fixture, the part and the problem — changeover time, distortion, inconsistent loading — and the clamping can be redesigned without rebuilding the whole fixture.

Do you supply hydraulic or pneumatic clamping?

Yes, where cycle time, clamping force or operator effort justifies it. Manual clamping is often the better answer on lower volumes and is quoted honestly.

How do you prevent clamping from distorting the part?

Clamp positions and support are chosen around wall thickness, material and finish requirements, then proven on a real part before the device ships.
