A workholding fixture is judged at the spindle: does the part load one way, clamp without distortion, clear the tool path and repeat across the run? Dynamics Group builds fixtures for its own production floor and applies the same standard to yours.

Dedicated milling fixtures

Do you build fixtures for parts you don't machine?

Yes. Workholding design and build is offered as its own scope — send the part model, machine and process details, and the tooling concept can be developed for your equipment.

Can you design the fixture from just a part model?

Yes. The part model, target machine, operation sequence and datum scheme are enough to start; missing details are identified in the design review.

How is fixture accuracy verified?

Machined locator and net-pad positions are checked on in-house metrology against the fixture design before delivery.

Are weld fixtures the same thing?

No. Weld fixtures hold assemblies for joining and have their own page. This page covers workholding that locates and clamps parts for CNC machining.

Do you also design the clamping itself?

Yes. Quick-change clamping, powered clamping and distortion-aware clamp layouts for series production are covered on the CNC clamping devices page and are usually quoted alongside the fixture.
