Checking fixtures & gages

Turn a drawing requirement into a fast production decision.

Dynamics Group designs and builds checking fixtures and inspection gages around the feature, datum structure, operator and decision the tool must support.

Design + build

One source

CMM

Fixture details verified

3D scan

Existing geometry captured

Line-side

Operator usability considered

Where we fit

A gage should remove ambiguity, not add a second inspection process

The tool is designed around a clear decision: accept, reject, adjust or diagnose. That keeps the interface simple and puts metrology only where it adds value.

Attribute gages

Go/no-go decisions for recurring features and assembly conditions.

Variable checking fixtures

Measurement access for features where numeric feedback drives adjustment.

Master and correlation aids

Defined references for repeatability, setup and maintenance checks.

Reverse-engineered nests

Digital capture and design support when original models are incomplete.

Proof before promise

How the gage is delivered

Inputs
Part model, drawing, datum scheme, decision criteria and production context
Build
Machined details, fabricated structure, purchased components and assembly
Verification
Agreed critical features checked on appropriate in-house metrology
Support
Practical review of operator access, maintenance and replaceable wear details

How a quote starts

Send enough context to get a useful answer

  1. 01

    Show the requirement

A drawing, model, marked-up photo, layout or statement of work is enough to begin.

  2. 02

    Name the decision

Quantity, timing, critical features and acceptance requirements keep the quote focused.

  3. 03

    Review together

We identify risk, missing data and the best process before committing your schedule.

Buyer questions

Straight answers before you send a print

Do you design both attribute and variable gages?

Yes. The design depends on the production decision, tolerance, feature access and required feedback.

Can you work from an existing physical part?

Yes. 3D scanning and conventional measurement can support reverse engineering when approved source data is incomplete.

Do you provide calibration services?

No calibration service is claimed on this page. Calibration and certification requirements should be identified so the correct accredited provider can be included when needed.

Can you include replaceable wear details?

Yes. Pins, bushings, locators and other wear items can be designed for maintenance and replacement.
